Good evening dear friends, yesterday, 8 December, the Milanese Craft Fair closed. We presented our Bandelli Line brand at the fair.
The products on the stand were the new bracelets in steel and brightly coloured polymeric resin; metallic fabrics for wall decorations and television or theatre scenography; striking aluminium dresses for a night at the disco or important social events.
I would like to give my first impression and later on I will give a more precise consideration.
- We were delighted by the sincere interest and genuine compliments given to the Bandelli Line products on display.
- The fair has attracted an impressive number of visitors, who even blocked the motorways and carparks for hours, a sure sign that Italy is still alive despite the economic crisis, taxes, bureaucracy and our governing class which is often corrupt and does its best to bring Italy down.
- We can see that people have very little money to spare and of course they spend it on necessities, so those selling mozzarella and caciocavallo are favoured over craftsmen and small companies.
- It was a pickpockets’ feast and I think there were more thieves than visitors. I’m quite sure that in the end they unknowingly ended up picking each other’s pockets!
We thank everybody who bought our bracelets and even those customers who haggled energetically for a discount which we gave them in the end through sheer exhaustion.
